Petro Mohyla is one of the most famous religious, cultural and public figures of Ukraine, whose true greatness is marked in the history by the term "Mohyla’s Period of Ukrainian History." He is a prominent theologian, educator, humanist, reformer, founder of the national cultural revival of Ukraine. The life of Kyiv Metropolitan Petro Mohyla for many people even today is extraordinary mystery. Complex and controversial was the fate of the church and prominent cultural figure that left considerable mark in the history and culture of Ukraine. The analysis of recent research. In historiography today there are several views on Mohyla, none of which can be considered neither complete nor objective as their political or narrow religious affiliation and tendency are too obvious. The conclusions. The figure of Petro Mohyla has never lost interest of his contemporaries and later historians as causing polar thoughts and opinions. But whatever traits or features of activities they stopped at they all agreed that it was a strong–willed, authoritative, hard head, called by his era and its customs. At the same time certainly they marked his skills of an experienced organizer, a good counselor, a wise mentor. His name is linked to deployment of higher and secondary education in Ukraine and Russia which was not simply copying Western schools, but could compete with them. He was the founder and creator of the first in Eastern Europe higher education institution — Kyiv–Mohyla College, which became the forerunner of Ukrainian Academy and the University of Kiev.</summary>

As defined in the project throughout the period of independent Ukraine in the education sector of the country accumulated numerous problems systemic. To ensure education as a foundation for sustainable development requires systemic education reform, which should be the subject of public consensus.&#xD;
&#xD;
Top priority in the reform of higher education acquire new pedagogical models and technologies, methods and teaching aids that have a shape future professional competence as subject of the concept of sustainable development. The most important are the ability and the need to acquire new knowledge, independent learning activity, the ability to analyze unusual situations and based on this analysis, the acquired knowledge by working in a team of professionals make informed decisions and take responsibility for their consequences. The value of the individual, his interests — a dominant priorities of modern education, organization, content and innovative research. So, along with the effective management of the system of education, new educational technologies, the introduction of interactive teaching methods, implementation of competence approach to training young professionals is the most urgent task of the academic community today.</summary>

In modern conditions humanitarian training of Ukrainian engineering staff ensures the formation of a fully developed personality, awareness of the place in society, the definition of reasonable attitude to basic ontological problems of mankind. For this, among other things, it is necessary to answer the question of correlation (antagonism) of culture and civilization, which since the nineteenth century has occupied a prominent place in the Ukrainian public opinion, particularly in historiosophical views of P. Kulish. The analysis of recent research. At present the available scientific researches of P. Kulish’s creativity [1; 2; 3] have mostly literary character, the consideration of his social and historical views is made in them without system. The purpose of the article is to analyze the socio–historical views of P. Kulish in mutual influence of scientific and technological civilization and spiritual culture, to evaluate the possibility of using the theoretical heritage of outstanding Ukrainian philosopher to identify the ways of modernizing humanitarian training of engineers. The conclusions. Thus, even in the nineteenth century Panteleimon Kulish put in his usual sharp journalistic form the questions of the relation between scientific and technological civilization and "natural state", between the technical and economic progress and the desire to preserve the natural and cultural environment, which today have become extreme urgency and relevance. A positive solution of these issues is impossible without a radical change in the ideological orientation of professional training engineers as engine and instrument of science and technology.</summary>

An oratorical art is one with the oldest types of human activity. Force of word which convinces influences and inspires, always was direct–coupled with personality progress of any public figures. For today trade of eloquence and ability to set and support the living co–operating with listeners is examined as a necessary component for professional activity in the most various spheres of self–realization.&#xD;
&#xD;
Purpose of work — to analyse the major aspects of oratorical art and set intercommunication of eloquence and personality progress. For gaining end the followings tasks are put: to probe the features of forming of practical and theoretical foundations of oratorical trade; to analyse historical, national and personality component arts of word; to consider the row of laws which determine mislennevo–vocal activity; to define specific properties of co–operation of speaker and audience.&#xD;
&#xD;
Conclusions. 1. Historical sources carried to us information about high development of oratorical trade in the countries of Ancient East and Asia — Egypt, Syria, Vaviloni, Indium, China. However much eloquence attained a most bloom in V–VIII anitem A.D. in Ancient Greece, and then — in Ancient Rome.&#xD;
&#xD;
2. The article of oratorical art opens up through a number ofl aws, namely: audiences, strategies, tacticians, linguistic (vocal), effective communication (dynamics of activity of speaker) and control–analytical (reflections).&#xD;
&#xD;
3. Among main problems which can be come an obstacle for fruitful co–operation of speaker and listeners, two basic complexes are selected: circle of questions, related to social and personality interests; stereotypes of every day consciousness.&#xD;
&#xD;
4. Decision value at any forms of public appearance has personality of speaker, him own feeling of progress, based not only on the detailed knowledge of object but also on the sufficient domain of actor trade and psychological ability of the effective use of reception of novelty main constituents, when in living contemplation listeners by a deep awareness always can form clear position.</summary>
