Abstract: EN: The rational design of energy-efficient foundation slabs with void fillers is an important aspect of sustainable building design. The use of void fillers can reduce the amount of concrete required, which results in lower embodied energy and a reduced carbon footprint. Foundation slabs are an integral part of building construction and have a significant impact on the energy performance of a building.
