UK: Актуальність роботи зумовлена тим, що інвестиції в енергоефективність набувають особливого значення в умовах сучасних глобальних викликів, таких як енергетична криза, зміна клімату та зростаючі витрати на енергоресурси. У країнах з енергоємною економікою, включаючи Україну, досягнення енергоефективності може суттєво зменшити залежність від імпорту енергоносіїв, сприяти енергетичній безпеці та знизити негативний вплив на навколишнє середовище. Заходи з підвищення енергоефективності мають потенціал значно зменшити витрати як для підприємств, так і для домогосподарств, що, у свою чергу, стимулює економічне зростання та соціальний добробут. Значна увага приділяється ролі державної підтримки, фінансових механізмів та інноваційних технологій у створенні сприятливого інвестиційного клімату.
