Асиметрія розвитку глобальної економіки в контексті її цифровізації

Abstract

UK: У статті розглядаєтьсярозрив між економіками з найвищими та найнижчими темпами зростання секторів щодо впровадження та використання цифрових технологій та темпів розвитку процесів цифрової трансформації, які існують на сучасному етапі розвитку суспільства. Метою роботи є дослідження існування асиметрії розвитку глобальної економіки в контексті її цифровізації, як з точки зору умов чи потенціалу цифрової трансформації, так і рівня впровадження цифрових технологій в економіку окремих країн світу. Пропонується побудова Індексу цифрової трансформації глобальної економіки, який включає два субіндекси – можливостей та результатів цифрової трансформації, на основі використанняавторського методичного підходу, що передбачає виконання таких кроків: 1) формування інформаційної бази розрахунку Індексу цифрової трансформації та відповідних субіндексів; 2) розрахунок субіндексів потенціалу та результатів цифрової трансформації за зібраними та стандартизованими даними; 3) ранжування країн світу у відповідності до розрахованих на попередньому кроці значеннях субіндеків потенціалу та результатів цифрової трансформації; 4) розрахунок Індексу цифрової трансформації глобальної економіки на основі визначених раніше субіндексів потенціалу та результатів цифрової трансформації; 5) ранжування країн світу у відповідності до розрахованого Індексу цифрової трансформації глобальної економіки. На основі проведеного кластерного аналізу виділено три кластери серед досліджених 88 країн світу за субіндексами потенціалу й результатів цифрової трансформації та ВВП на душу населення, кожен з яких характеризує країни світу, які перебувають на різному етапі цифрового розвитку за рівнем створених умов для подальшої цифровізації, рівнем зрілості національних стратегій цифрової трансформації та результатами впровадження цифрових технологій: 1) країни, що є передовими за цифровою трансформацією; 2) країни, що перебувають на перехідному етапі цифрової трансформації; 3) країни з обмеженою готовністю до цифрової трансформації. Зроблено висновок, що проведене дослідження підтверджує значну асиметрію розвитку глобальної економіки в контексті її цифрової трансформації, що проявляється в нерівномірності потенціалу цифрової трансформації країн світу до цифрових технологій, інфраструктури та отримання суттєвих результатів цифрової економіки.

EN: The article examines the gap between economies with the highest and lowest growth rates of sectors in terms of the introduction and use of digital technologies and the rates of development of digital transformation processes that exist at the current stage of society's development. The aim of the work is to study the existence of asymmetry in the development of the global economy in the context of its digitalization, both from the point of view of the conditions or potential of digital transformation, and the level of implementation of digital technologies in the economy of individual countries of the world. It is proposed to build a Digital Transformation Index of the Global Economy, which includes two sub-indices - opportunities and results of digital transformation, based on the use of the author's methodological approach, which involves the implementation of the following steps: 1) formation of an information base for calculating the Digital Transformation Index and the corresponding sub-indices; 2) calculation of sub-indices of potential and results of digital transformation based on collected and standardized data; 3) ranking of countries of the world in accordance with the values of the sub-indices of potential and results of digital transformation calculated in the previous step; 4) calculation of the Digital Transformation Index of the Global Economy based on previously defined sub-indices of potential and results of digital transformation; 5) ranking of countries in the world in accordance with the calculated Digital Transformation Index of the Global Economy. Based on the cluster analysis, three clusters were identified among the 88 countries studied by sub-indices of potential and results of digital transformation and GDP per capita, each of which characterizes countries in the world that are at different stages of digital development in terms of the level of created conditions for further digitalization, the level of maturity of national digital transformation strategies and the results of the implementation of digital technologies: 1) countries that are advanced in digital transformation; 2) countries that are in the transition stage of digital transformation; 3) countries with limited readiness for digital transformation. It is concluded that the study confirms the significant asymmetry of the development of the global economy in the context of its digital transformation, which is manifested in the unevenness of the digital transformation potential of the countries of the world to digital technologies, infrastructure and obtaining significant results of the digital economy.
