Аналіз зміни курсу валют та політика Національного банку України

Abstract

UK: У статті розглянуті причини падіння та росту курсу української гривні щодо американського долара. Досліджені причини різкого падіння та росту курсів валют на міжбанку. Проаналізована політика НБУ в питанні стабілізації курсу української гривні. Наведені та пояснені статистичні дані за певні періоди для розкриття динаміки змін курсу валют, а також для виявлення закономірностей, що впливають на коливання курсу валют. У статті пояснюється вплив попиту на гроші на курс національної гривні. Проаналізовані методи, що застосовуються НБУ задля вирішення наявних проблем, надана оцінка його діям. Розглянуто вплив політичних факторів на коливання курсу валют. Наведені приклади успішних та неуспішних спроб стабілізувати ситуацію на міжбанку як НБУ, так і зарубіжних банків. Розглянуті причини та сучасні наслідки впливу відміни золотого стандарту. Пояснюється зв’язок між коливанням курсу валют та зміною облікової ставки НБУ. Розглянута роль зарубіжних компаній на міжбанку та їх вплив на курс національної валюти.

RU: В статье рассмотрены причины падения и роста курса украинской гривны по отношению к американскому доллару. Исследованы причины резкого падения и роста курсов валют на межбанке. Проанализирована политика НБУ в вопросе стабилизации курса украинской гривны. Приведены и объяснены статистические данные за определенные периоды для раскрытия динамики изменений курса валют, а также для выявления закономерностей, влияющих на колебания курса валют. В статье объясняется влияние спроса на деньги на курс национальной гривны. Проанализированы методы, применяемые НБУ для решения имеющихся проблем, дана оценка его действиям. Рассмотрено влияние политических факторов на колебания курса валют. Приведены примеры успешных и неуспешных попыток стабилизировать ситуацию на межбанке как НБУ, так и зарубежных банков. Рассмотрены причины и современные последствия влияния отмены золотого стандарта. Объясняется связь между колебанием курса валют и изменением учетной ставки НБУ. Рассмотрена роль зарубежных компаний на межбанке и их влияние на курс национальной валюты.

EN: The article deals with the reasons for the fall and growth of the Ukrainian hryvnia against the US dollar. The reasons for the sharp fall and growth of exchange rates on the interbank market are investigated. The NBU policy on stabilizing the Ukrainian hryvnia exchange rate is analyzed. Provides and explains the statistics for certain periods to reveal the dynamics of changes in the exchange rate, as well as to identify the laws that affect the exchange rate fluctuations. The article explains the effect of demand for money on the course of the national hryvnia. The methods that the NBU uses to solve existing problems are analyzed, its actions are evaluated. The influence of political factors on the exchange rate fluctuations is considered. Examples of successful and unsuccessful attempts to stabilize the situation on the interbank market both with the NBU and with foreign banks are given. The reasons and modern consequences of the effect of the abolition of the gold standard are considered. The connection between exchange rate fluctuations and the change in the discount rate of the NBU is explained. The role of foreign companies in the interbank market and their influence on the course of the national currency are considered. It also explains why and how investments affect the exchange rate fluctuations and why it is important to attract foreign investment in Ukraine. Determine the main subjects, that affect the exchange rate. Explains the influence of the discount rate on the work of banks in Ukraine, relevant statistic is provided. The economic condition of Ukraine under crisis and usual conditions is analyzed and it is compared with the fluctuations of the exchange rate, the reason and the connection of these processes are explained. The following are additional causes of currency fluctuations, such as migration and seasonality, the corresponding statistics and analyzed data are given. Conclusions on the state of the exchange rate for 2018, recommendations for improving the hryvnia, recommendations on the problems and problems that prevent effective policy of strengthening the hryvnia on the world market have been made.
